At eXplorance, we set out to create the world's best web based information gathering and analysis software. Naturally we talked to many people working in Human Resources, Training, IT, Customer Service, Sales and Marketing to ask what they needed most.

We discovered that the biggest weakness in information gathering and analysis software was that they didn't fit into their overall environment. Without this integration, setting up systems including surveys, appraisals, psychometric tests, and 360 degree feedback was drawn-out and painful. And without any way to access data in your existing systems, every questionnaire had to repeat the same old questions (name? department?), which turned off respondents and wasted everyone's time.
