Blue/Tests Features and Benefits

Maximum security

Blue/Tests connects to your current authentication source, providing the highest possible security. It also allows you to set authentication levels: respondents must either login using their login credentials (maximum security), or simply launch the application straight from their email invitation.

Online availability

Blue is 100% Web-based, which means your users need only a Web browser, internet connection, and the correct login credentials to create, manage, and report on their own tests. This can be done 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, without burdening your IT resources.

Intelligent tests

Once the end-user has logged in to access the online test, Blue already knows key information such as name, title, ID number, department, or school, since it has links with your current data. Your students (or other test responders) don't need to repeat this information.

Multiple grading capabilities

Create more advanced exams with positive/negative logic that penalizes incorrect answers and/or rewards correct answers to varying degree. You can also award marks for partially correct answers.

Wide range of question types

Blue/Tests provides a wide range of question types, including:
  • Multiple choice (one correct answer)
  • Multiple response (many correct answers)
  • True/false
  • Fill in the blank/short answer
  • Selection (drop-down box filled with choices)
  • Ordered list (place items in order)
  • Tables
  • Numeric boxes
  • Essay
  • Feedback

Multi-language

The multi-language interface permits you to publish in as many languages as you require.

Key indicators

When creating a test, users can tie weights to different questions to emphasize more important issues. Users can also group questions, with their accompanying weights, to create key indicators. These indicators provide important strategic information in summary form.

For example, a psychology research project may wish to emphasize certain questions over others and ignore results from dummy questions. Questions pertaining to a particular theme can be grouped for analysis.

Comparative reporting

Blue/Tests can compare results from different time periods. For example, you may want to test before and after a training session, allowing you to analyze training value more accurately.

Blue/Tests also allows you to compare reports for different categories (individual and/or aggregate).
