Belmont University Acquires Blue Course Evaluations, BTA, DIG and Bluepulse

Montreal, Canada – June 21, 2016 – Ranked #5 in the Regional Universities South category and #2 on the “Most Innovative” schools by U.S. News & World Report, Belmont University has selected Blue to manage their course evaluation process. In addition, the university has acquired Blue Text Analytics (BTA), Bluepulse, and the Data Integrity Gateway (DIG) to optimize their learning analytics capabilities.

Committed to being a leader in teaching and learning, Belmont University has more than 7,400 students across 80 undergraduate programs, 22 master’s programs and five doctoral degrees.  As a Blackboard Learn™ and Banner® by Ellucian institution, Belmont will benefit from Blue’s native integration with both systems. This will enable them to leverage enrollment data and fully automate their evaluation process, minimizing time and effort. Administrators will also be able to easily embed evaluation forms directly into the university’s LMS to increase faculty and student participation.

Making use of Bluepulse, instructors will gather daily feedback from students and use them to implement timely initiatives that can lead to higher learning outcomes. BTA will help Belmont University examine open-ended comments from course evaluations, categorize them into meaningful themes, and convert them into quantifiable results. With DIG in place they can improve business decisions with accurate, complete, and consistent data.  Working together, Blue, BTA, DIG, and Bluepulse will make continuous improvement a reality for Belmont University.
